Hoisin Mock Duck Wrap

Our ready to eat vegan duck slices in a soya sauce are perfect for exciting Asian flavoured recipes such as this. Spicy and zingy with plenty of protein and fibre goodness from seitan.

Recipe tip: Serve with a dipping sauce made from Marigold Liquid Aminos mixed with honey and grated fresh ginger.

What you’ll need - for the wrap:

  • 1 x 225g tin of Marigold Mo-Du (vegan mock duck slices)

  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

  • 2 tsp Hoisin sauce

  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

  • A splash of Marigold Liquid Aminos or soya sauce

  • Flatbread, tortilla or rice wrap to serve

What you’ll need - for the sauce:

  • 2 tbsp Marigold Liquid Aminos

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated.

How to do it:

  1. Heat a spoonful of oil in a shallow pan. Gently sauté the spring onions, garlic and fresh ginger for 3 minutes.

  2. Add the Hoisin sauce and stir well.

  3. Add the mock duck slices and gently simmer for a further 8 minutes.

  4. Mix the sauce ingredients together well and serve in a small side bowl for dipping.

  5. Empty the mock duck into a flatbread, tortilla or rice wrap, roll up and dip into your sauce.
